rin0011 Victorian Snake Ring with Secret Compartment
c. Vic. Possibly early. This snake ring is a rare beauty if not one of kind. It is made up of gold and turquoise. The stones appear to be all original with none being replaced. The beautiful engraving goes all around the outside of the ring. What is really nice and unique about this piece is the small trap door on the inside band (noticable in picture) which opens to reveal a space to store a small lock of hair or other item. It is a large ring approximately a size 9 and not easily resizable. Will fit nicely on a thumb! This is a terrific find and great price!
