mj0006 - Victorian Mourning Brooch

c. Early Vict. --- Victorian gold brooch tested to be at least 14k. Back is gold-filled which is not uncommon. Piece measures 2" long x 1-3/4" wide. Back is signed "Ann Parnelle died 29 Sept 1846 aged 76". Prince of Wales hair two colors brown and black. Glass cover has appeared to have loosened over the years.
